husky_puppy_vet_1.pngPet boarding at an animal hospital or veterinary clinic is becoming a popular choice for pet lovers who want to make sure that their pet is well taken care of while they're away on business, vacation, or other personal reasons. Choosing a place to board your dog or cat may cause you to have a number of questions, including "Will my dog be exercised?", "Will my pet be given fresh water daily?", "How often will my dog be fed?", "How often will my pet be checked on?", "How often will my pet be given love and affection?"

Fremont Animal Hospital Pet Boarding

Here at our vet hospital, Irvington Pet Hospital in Fremont, CA, you can be assured that your pet is healthy and happy while staying at our facility. We offer both cat boarding and dog boarding, and we strive to make your pet as relaxed and happy as possible. Our veterinarian is always available in case your pet requires medical treatment during boarding.

Your cat will have her own cat condo, which includes a two-room living arrangement providing separation from the litter box and living room. Our cat ward is exclusively for cats; dogs have their own boarding area. We also make sure that your dog gets ample exercise. In fact, we walk all dogs three times daily on week days and two times daily on weekends. Our boarding facilities for dogs are clean and spacious.

Tips for Pet Boarding

Leaving your pet for an extended period of time can cause stress and separation anxiety for your pet. However, our Fremont veterinarians have suggested a number of tips to help ease your pet’s anxiety. First, start bringing out your suitcase weeks in advance of your trip. Second, be sure to call our vet hospital early and speak to our veterinarian  to let us know your pet boarding needs. Third, let us know your pet's likes and dislikes. Fourth, if your pet has a favorite toy that may provide him with comfort, bring it along when you board him. Lastly, be sure to provide us with your contact information, including how you can be reached while you are gone.

We love to give tours of our boarding facilities? Have you been on our tour yet?
